Monkey Cups are tropical plants from South-east Asia. They require bright, indirect sunlight and grow well in windowsills. They are climbing plants so do well in hanging baskets.
Carnivorous plants must be watered with either rainwater or R.O water (unless you are lucky enough to have tapwater with minerals below 50ppm). Nepenthes are naturally from jungle environments with humidity so regular spraying is essential. Water the pot regularly but not so the plant's roots are sat in water.
Nepenthes need nutrient poor soil. An equal mix of peat moss, perlite and orchid bark is good for monkey cups.
Although it's tempting to feed carnivorous plants, they are very capable of capturing their own food and will cnsume a surprising amount of flying insects.
